... I was ready to move on. The museum is not even a year old. Its shape is that of a rolled up carpet.

We tried the funicular to better success. We headed toward a tower. Lots of soldiers around and two bands. Something was going to happen but it did not involve us so we left. We later heard the head of the EU was in town today.

It was time to eat and we went to the Burger House for our final meal, something different. It was okay ...

... to go with the higher prices but it was all very good. After our leisurely dinner, we bought a few macaroons from Laduree for dessert as we walked the 1.5 miles back. I HAVE LANDED IN LONDON! Today has been a crazy day. Last night my flight departed from JFK and although it was delayed an hour we were able to make most of it up due to the strong winds and landed in London at 9:00 this morning. I was very glad I got a window seat so I was able to see NYC at night as well as an amazing sunrise ...

... bit more until we could find someone who seemed a little more competent (and who didn’t end up following us around…). After we spent our time at Tower Bridge we made the big decision to walk all the way across town to Kensington Palace. By the time we made it to Kensington Palace I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I finally made it. The home of Will, Kate, and George. Weird that they let me walk through their garden as if I was one ...
