While sitting in a quite residential street Amy and I used the iPad to picked a hotel called Jingles in a town called Emsworth further along the A3. Jingles was nice with a guest lounge downstairs, with one on the bedrooms on the ground level, and the other upstairs.

Yesterday some friends of Ursula and Alan who had visited us in NZ quite a few years back, came to join us for lunch and the afternoon. Ursula cooked the Chicken and cranberry in red wine and, I prepared lemon posset the day before. It was lovely to see them again, they both seemed well. The day started promptly with the iphone alarm going off at 0430! We had set it for 0530 but it was an hour fast, obviously we had not kept up with all the hour changes, all but one possibly.
