26/3 Moo 4 Klong Prao Beach Ko Chang, Thailand, 23170, 66-2-642-4420
Didn't stay in Ko Phangnang long, only for two nights, one for the full moon and one as a recovery night (really glad I did this). Book accomodation at Tropicana resort, who arrangd for all the transport from Ko Tao. Tropicana is a basic but very nice place to stay quite near the pier. The lady who runs it is very friendly and even looked after all our valuables whilst we were at the the party. The trip from the resort to the full moon was very up and down in a taxi that i'm sure had a very d...

Laundry was done today - 200 baht (4 pounds!!) for 5kilos of washing, drying AND ironing Authentic Thai for dinner - from a cafe style BBQ place which is probably one of the best meals we have had so far! Ross accidentally ate a barbecued chili and almost passed out :)

Awoke early the next day to heavy rain and thundery conditions - no sitting at the pool today! Not ...
Ko Chang, Thailand davidandross... is hostory ! Well, after that news it seems really trivial to talk about our Jungle Trek on that Island ........but i have to say ,it was definately a highlight of staying on the island (probably cos it was the only time we managed to get of our asses)..............back in the days when we were just boyfriend and Girlfriend ........we booked up a days trek in the Jungle .........Jungle Man Raht would be leading the way .......on this Jungle and ...
koh chang, Thailand nickmofryArrived in Koh Chang the day before yesterday, met an American girl called Amber on the ferry over and the two of us decided to get fully aquainted over several beers which then turned into several buckets (which are plastic buckets filled with Thai Whiskey, Red bull and coke or lemonade). After several failed attempts I did ...
Ko Chang, Thailand mikela... sorry if I couldn't hear you - but hope the message of have a happy new year got through! Me and Sal another vol, wandered off along the beach and ended up sitting on beach chairs chatting for ages - was really nice - relaxing after the mania of Nature! We ended up climbing up to the resort we were sitting outside ofs swimming pool and dangling our feet into it. We then headed over to White Sands to watch the sunrise - unfortunately we forgot that the sun rises in the east ...
Ko Chang, Thailand hannah_davies... 4 young kids. They are in and out of the pool, dressed and undressed, and all having fun. The 18 year old took some sponge liners out from her bikini top and put them on a lounger. The little 4 year old came along and seen them, decided to put here bikini on (the little ones were all swimming nude) and then put the sponge liners in her top, with half of them hanging out. It was so funny to watch, then she went to little Kevin about 3 and took his hands and put them ...
Koh Chang, Thailand dancejill... her owner, with the hope that one day she can join Dollar at the Wildlife Rescue Centre. Next we visited a lady who had two pet macaques, and had realised as they grew older and more aggressive, that they needed to be cared for in a more appropriate environment. The macaques would spend most of their time in a small, dark, concrete enclosure containing nothing to keep them physically or mentally occupied. The rest of their time was spent on ...
Koh Chang, Thailand annek... too serious as they evaporated as soon as they hit us. So it was quite pleasant.. warm light drops of rain, the wind blowing in our hair, fresh air, etc. Then the skies opened and it pelted. At the same time the boat went faster. By this time we had picked up so many other people there were now no seats in the back for us. We found that by sitting low we could hide behind the bow of the boat and have most of the rain pass over us. Except for the ...
Trat, Trat, Thailand lisa_nz... Trat and the islands are considered as high-risk areas in which to catch malaria. I doubted that the fabled yellow oil would be of any assistance if we came down with that.

The boat to Ko Mak was the standard converted fishing trawler and we reached the island just before sunset the next day. We were a bit disappointed to see a horde of farangs waiting at the pier - and we soon realised how much more developed Ko Mak is when compared to Ko Chang. A young woman ...
