It's always amazing the depth of conversations you can end up in with almost complete strangers as well and she was a great listener. A banda band played full volume as we watched the sun set and we sipped ice cold beers with lime wedged in the bottle neck. Mexican beach life, it's a hard life, but someone's got to live it! :D
... ate most of our breakfasts. We had also gone to the grocery store the second day we were there and got a few snacks to keep in our kitchen for Maya. She ended up enjoying a bowl of refried beans for most of her dinner meals. Her great-grandma Rosie is Mexican so we joked that she must be embracing her Mexican heritage :)
In addition to the refried beans and swimming in the pool, Maya also enjoyed riding the pulmonias - the open-air taxis ...
We have had a couple of really fun and action packed days. Yesterday we started the day off with a 1 1/2 hour Catamaran Boat ride to Stone Island, we had a Seal follow the boat for a while, it was a gorgeous day, great music, free alcohol and amazing lunch. He then looked in the back seat, he didn't move or touch any of our luggage but did look with his light behind the seats. We had to produce our vehicle documents and were both asked questions about what we were doing and where we had got the vehicle etc (separately).
