... people ask us, "What have you liked the best?" Neither of us can answer that. Different things jump to mind at different times. How do you compare a huge city to a sand spit in the Maldives knowing both were amazing? Who would understand that having tea on a family's rooftop veranda near the India-Nepal boarder or seeing a band of desperately poor children in Cambodia would both be memories that will stand out ...

... We both needed this. We were starting to get a bit tired and bodies were feeling it. After the swim we grabbed a bite to eat in the bar and played some billiards. ... flights from Russia to Vietnam have been abruptly canceled. People must buy tickets home that cost twice as much as planned. Construction is likely to halt soon. I am told there are comparatively fewer Russians here now than just a few weeks ago. Bars and clubs seem empty and I expect many will be closing. Lots of Russian young men and women that invested in the booming Vietnam economy have no place to go. No jobs here and no jobs back in the new EEEA. Not sure if there ...

... is the largest room we have ever received from a hotel, but it is so sparsely furnished, there is no where to put our clothes, a strange contradiction in such a big area. We left the hotel after finally settling in to our room to get something to eat. We walked a few blocks in the city of Nha Trang and the first thing we noticed was a large number of Russian tourists that frequent this destination. The driver that picked us up at ...
