The pool also has amazing amount of jets and he sat under some yesterday and the water massaged his upper back and shoulder, so that is another past time he will do each day, sounds perfect to me!     ... the party continues on the metro. We even found some of costumes used in the parade, that had been left in piles on the street, not surprising really when you actually picked them up and they were drenched in sweat. Overall, Rio really broke all expectations we had and had been told.     ... then made our way up to the JC peak. There were other SAS kids up at top but we could only see the actual statue for 5 minutes before the clouds rolled in and it started raining and the statue disappeared from our view. We went for a walk after we came down from heyzues down the road into the rainforest.     ... of various meats, fish and salads. The food was yummy. Tried my first ever Caipirinha (sugar cane alcoholic cocktail) which sorted me right out for a good night's sleep despite sleeping the whole day!

    All in all a successful wandering. Now back in our hotel room trying to figure out how we are going to get about Rio tomorrow and meet our tour group in a timely fashion...

    ... maps app to be an atm around the corner from our hotel!! This combined with the 3rd piece of luck which happened to be that before we left the apartment, we stashed a spare key above the door, saw me jumping in a taxi on my way home.
