      ... are only open for dinner. We enjoyed the time to tour a different part of the city though. We head back to change clothes and off for more touring. We need to pack and gather supplies as we start our road trip tomorrow. We buy some souvenirs and head back to the hotel to pack and prepare for the drive to Chillagoe.       In Cairns we were staying in a hostel called Gilligans which had its own swimming pool, night club and if you bought a drink you got a free dinner, with a 300g steak and drink costing $10!

      ... to the rest of 'Gus the bus' and Cousin Amber, our high-on-life tour guide, then a bus ride to our first stop of the day, the Babinda Boulders River.
