... and has been a bit off for the last few days end ended up being sick, i don't really know if it was food, i don't think so because i was ok, i just think he had caught a bug.

It was a long night so relaxing it is tomorrow.

Weather : Rained heavy around 7am for about 10 minutes then light for another 20 minutes, this made it very hot and sticky for the rest of the day, but this evening it seemed a little cooler with a nice breeze in the right spot. Haze still present.

On the whole, the temples were slightly more ornate and colourful than Japan, with vibrant and intricate red and gold decorations adorning most of them, but they weren't quite as large or grand. After breakfast I wondered around my hotel and decided to sit in the spa and watched the ocean with the boats going past. I had a look around the street of my hotel and there's thing that the school group can look at for learning cultural experience ...

... The Novotel Resort in Phuket was breathtaking. It lies right on top of a hill looking over all of Patong Beach. We were right next to the beach which made the view all worthwhile. We arrived at 11 AM to our resort where they told us our room still wasn't ready yet. No big deal for us girls, this just meant time to explore!

We first walked around our resort at laid down by the pool. There are no words for the amount of heat and humidity we felt. It was HOT! Just ...

... an apartment complex called BYD Lofts. Thanks Rita for pointing us in that direction. It is lovely. Fortunately we had arranged a private transfer from the Phuket airport to Patong Beach. After midnight is not the time you want to be looking for transport. After breakfast this morning, we decided to walk down to the beach. Just as we were leaving to go back to the hotel when a young bloke stopped ...
