        So think planes, trains, and automobiles! Fast train to Rome, flight to Frankfurt, flight to Vilnius (Lithuania) and then 3 hour drive to Klaipeda, executive committee meeting, dinner with Carole and the day ended! Not much in terms of fun for the next three days.         ... very appreciative of Michael's patience and understanding of subtle knacks families do. He really got it, and kept me in touch too. Truly supportive and sometimes brutally honest through my *****y moments. Next time we come in the summer, stay in a hotel, or cabin in Palanga, keep our fitness routine, get American coffee in the mornings, and serve our own food.         ... my constant complaints as we crossed Russia was the total lack of any information in anything but Russian, but in Kaliningrad, it is almost bi-lingual – Russian & German!
