Seth- I love coming back to Penn Yan whenever I can. It really is and always will be home for me. I've been living in NYC for nearly a decade and still I get that 'going home' feeling every time I get into the region. Clean air, clear skies, and nice ...

It was a great 2nd day in the finger lakes! We started the morning by going to Watkins Glen State Park, which is right at the base of Seneca Lake. It looked more like a small pond with a bunch of grass on the far end. There was a footbridge crossing the creek to the left and the trail continued around the lake on the right.

We asked someone we passed if there was anything worth seeing beyond that point and he suggested taking the footbridge to the old stone dam just a few minutes from ...

... back to the top of the observation tower, we went our separate ways. Chris and Steph headed off to experience the Cave of the Winds, while Cindy and I strolled over to the visitor's center for a cool drink and to take a break. By 5 o'clock, we were all back together and headed home to Watkin's Glen. We decided to stop for dinner, so Stephanie did sone online research and found a great little pizza place in Geneva called ...
