Headed to Woolworths on the way back to get some biscuits, as i’d eaten them all.
Some people arrived in our room, they were from Australia, doing some of the east coast.
They were off out that night, should be interesting.

... It is less dazzling and it was over in about 20 minutes. We were out of Movie World before closing time as well due to the heavy downpour. It was so sunny in the morning and early afternoon. In fact, it was downright hot but that meant we could take the rides. By 3:15pm, most of the rides were close due to an impending thunderstorm, and it did happen at around 4pm. The rain was torrential! And it got quite cold! We came back home for dinner and went down to Surfer's Paradise ...
Upon return from Hobart, my lovely travel buddy Steph was landing in Brisbane from the Uluru Rock Tour (yes, it was that good that I've recommended so many people to go and each of them agree its amazing!) who was stopping in Brisbane to catch up with some old travel friends, however offered her to stay the night at ours as it was a late night arrival and the train to the city was due to stop running that late.

... so we had to go have a look of course! Guess what.........no battery power in the phone!! Ahhhhhhhh..... So, no pics today folks.
Dinner with Trina and Dave was cooked by us but the kids fell asleep at the table - literally dropped off and so put them to bed. Sat up chatting and catching up on the last 18 years with Trina which was great. Another awesome day and we are feeling very fortunate/blessed.
... ready before having some drinks in the poolside bar downstairs with lots of Germans. Several of them were leaving the hostel (they all worked there) so it was a leaving do and loads of people had turned up from Brisbane and further afield. We had a good laugh then we all went out to go to a club (we didn't get in again as we didn't have our passports and they wouldn't accept our photocopies!). Still, we'll head out for drinks tomorrow in a bar instead! We headed back ...
