A nice dinner to end the day at a restaurant called "Ocarina". I have no idea where the ocarina fitted in to the restaurant as there was none visible in all the strange stuff in the restaurant including a picture of a red indian above a Hindu god statue. Still the food was lovely and Rami finished off with another serve of the Crème Cake that is the local specialty.
... or perhaps a pilgrim. The whole breakfast experience was quite different this morning. In the mountains, it was leisurely and everything cooked and served fresh. This morning it is cafeteria and rushed as many were on strict time schedules. It was tasty and once I figured where the coffee was and how to run the machine, the stress settled. ... to go canyoning but due to recent rains the canyons were all flooded which meant that was also out.
We planned to go rafting and tour the mountains but we got a call to say Stace's nan was in hospital and pretty crook so after that we didn't really feel like going and spent the day relaxing, well that was the plan. We instead hired bikes before riding and hiking Johny and Glenda style to a place called Vintgar Gorge, which is a stream that smashes through the mountains ...

Before I knew it, Deb was back and our friend had found a way to Zagreb. Thankfully, he was very cool about it and did not get mad like any normal person would; we made sure he kept his money even though he insisted he still pay, despite not reaching his destination. We made our regrettable return to Budapest, having wasted about seventy euros ...
