We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.

But since we arrived in the cabin around 3 AM, we just decided to crash rather than try to get other accommodations. I had the reminder flea bites on my legs for the following week. Just a reminder, that it’s still all about the ...

... 30. I’m starving but dinner isn’t for another seven hours! Also, given that we start so early, I pretty much have to go to bed an hour or so after finishing dinner, which has given me some pretty exciting dreams. I could probably solve this by eating lighter dinners, but with food like tonight’s zucchini stuffed with rice, that’s not a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
