Tri Trang Beach Resort is worth a visit again. If I would go back to Phuket, i will stay in here again. It is a big property with separate buildings and it has its own private beach. The sand is fine and the restaurant is beside the beach. I love the location of the restaurant, however, it is not near the room where I stayed so I always need to walk for 500 meters and take the elevator to go there. The resort has 3 swimming pools and it is never crowded too. Mostly, the guest in this hotel are Europeans. The room is comfortable and and the comfort room is big. It has a balcony adjoining each room. The only thing I don't like in this resort is you need to take a Tuk Tuk or Taxi for 250 Baht for one way to go to central Patong. The food in this place is also quite costly. However, despite this, I would still recommend staying in this property especially if you are someone who loves privacy.

Phuket is a lovely place. It is one of the Southern Provinces in Thailand that has vibrant beaches and great islands. It is the gateway to Jame's Bond Island, part of Ao Phang Nga National Park, which has been featured in the movie The Man With the Golden Gun in 1974. From Phuket, one can also reach Ko Phi Phi Island, which has became famous with …

Two days ago we decided to book a deep sea fishing boat trip. As this is the low season, we got the trip for half the price of the advertised brochure. Up at 6.30am, breakfast, headed to the hotel lobby. Bus was to pick us up at 7.30am, it didn't arrive till 8am. Drove to Chalong Bay, where we caught a small trawler/fishing boat. There were 2 crew members, a captain & a deckhand and 8 fishing guest on ...

... stream youtube or have a skype call with the video. There are no rock climbing gyms. The ONLY place for outdoor rock climbing is 6 hours away (the route was just set in let you know how new rock climbing is to the country). Because we would be spending most of the time we would be in the city we work, that would not leave much for us to do.

On a positive note, now that I've done so much research on Myanmar, I really would like to visit the country:)

Video Girl and Battery Boy actually left the resort to go to dinner, and it was worth it. They dined at a restaurant called De Dos, owned and run by a Swiss Bolivian chef Pablo Blattmann who worked under Paul Bocuse in Lyon before setting up his restaurant six years ago.

27.5.2014 Patong Beach (Phuket), Thailand Km: 62202 Problems with the police / Probleme mit der Polizei

I am a little surprised when I walk in the evening in Patong Beach in the party street around. I see more Go-Go bars and tourists in Pattaya. We also feel more the curfew than in Kao Lak. The police is not as strict as in Bangkok, but the go-go bars close at 22:00! But they check the helmet law better and stop me because ...
