I have been to Jakarta only for few hours. Arrived to Jakarta airport at 22:00 and went back at 6:00 to pick up an airplan to Bali.

I have stayd to Pop hotel. Is it located not far away from the airport. To go there the taxi need to do some extra kms. I payd IDR 100.000 for 10 mn ride (paid to much).

The hotel give you free transfer from/to airport, but you need to reserve it in advance

But it was still nice to see the city and wander along its streets. Sandi took us down to the ...

Another attractive option for a longer (a month or more's) stay is selecting a rented room or perhaps apartment which will be charged monthly. It is possible to obtain a comfortable room with amenities like air-conditioning, TV, furniture, kitchen, hot shower and so on for a reasonable rental fee. On the other ...

... domestic and all of the announcements were in Indonesian. We were told earlier when we asked for info that there was an error on the displays telling us our flight info so we were completely on our own to figure out when we were boarding. The flight was late so we ended up boarding about 30 minutes late. Once in the air we had to fly through some pretty hefty storm clouds and we had the worst turbulence I've ever experienced. The rain was flying past ...
