... ham, and beef. She said it was very traditional and that you mix it all up and dip your bread on it. It was so good. It reminded me of Thanksgiving. Then tonight the ISA group had a dinner at a restaurant (they rented it out) it was so good. Wine, salad, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, gravy, cranberry type sauce, and some kind of meat. We later found out that the meat was turkey with stuffing. It was really good. I can't remember ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands skivail89... this 5 euro mojito that he wasn’t going to drink. I asked him why he didn’t just ask for her to replace the drink and he told me that it is extremely rare for a bartender to ever replace a drink and that the Spaniards will usually never complain. I told him that I would go tell the bartender that we’d like to exchange the mojito and he was a little surprised. In my mind I was correct, if you don’t like it you ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands skivail89We woke with hangovers again and decided to go to the smugglers bar for a full english fry up. We have not ate bacon for the whole time that we have been away and I have been dreaming about bacon buttys lol. It was a really nice breakfast and just the thing for a hang over. We then went for a walk down the famous strip of the Costa Del Sol. Its ok and really pretty the beach is lovely and there are lots of bars and even spanish ...
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... was very tasty and I feel better that I can at least eat again without being so paranoid about where the food has been stored all day. We had met an english lady on the train that was so ill by the food in morroco that i felt really glad and relieved that we had come off so lucky.
Ian was feeling much better as well thankfully and we go on the bus to our final place the Costa Del Sol rodney! It was a ...

i guess i should mention why i am writing this blog. it's something i have always wanted to do, i have slowly taken an interest in writing, especially about travel, mostly my travels. i'm not sure where this writing experiment will lead but isn't that part of the fun? i decided to start with this trip because it involves my upcoming 12 night cruise from malaga to miami via the canary and madeira islands and the bahamas ...
We were so enjoying our time in Costa del Sol, nothing but beaches, pool time, and british families. Costa del Sol is pretty much the Florida of Europe, only the water´s not as warm. And the definition of a 4 star resort is a bit different in Spain than in the US... When we first arrived, they tried to put us in an apartment with 2 twin beds! Finally playing the ¨honeymoon¨ card played off, and we ended up with a spectacular room (see pics for the view). But after 4 days of lying ...
... for lunch is an area called Chininitos where there are lots of chairs and tables set outside for a great seafood.
Teatro Romano is another nice place to visit, heading up to the Mount Gilfrano from there allows to see the whole city underneath. Amazing view of the Torre where the bullfighting occurs.
Once seeing the precaussions was over at night, we head out to Cordoba for our last day of visit in the Southern Spain.
... time I got down to the jetski area I ran into Carlos's buddy Chris (who everyone calls 'Special') and Chris said Carlos waited a bit but decided to go out. Damn! Oh well, I headed back to the cabana area with Chris, and there I saw Sandra, Shanelle, and Val. I looked down the beach and saw Sonia walking and deep in thought. She looked like she was really enjoying herself taking it easy, but I could tell since Granada that she had sort of checked out a bit for ...
Torremolinos, Spain eurorichThis is one of 4 houses the family has, one being in Madrid and the other two in Salamanca. Like the one in Madrid this is a condo on the main floor, with a small yard that backs on to a common yard. Each condo has their own small private swimming pool, and you can see the beach from the living room! Out of 9 people living in the house, I am the only one with my own room. It has an ensuite bathroom with a ...
