Driving day number 2! Today we logged 447 miles. Piece of cake. It was mostly an uneventful ride. Here are a few thoughts from today: Illinois- mostly flat rolling fields of corn.....for miles and miles.....The skyline dotted with wind turbines, manicured highways and the prettiest rest stops I've ever seen. I went around a park twice trying to find I-94 before I gave up and just took the city streets out of Chicago proper. I accidentally drove into one of the less privileged neighborhoods in ...

We left Frisco CO about 10am after having tire fixed. luckily Ron did not have to change it in 6 ft of snow at the rest area we stopped at. We have a little compressor so it made it easier. Turns out it was not the tire at all but a cracked rim. Only cost 20 bucks to fix and eventually we will get a new rim. It still hold air for a spare so hopefully we won't need it til we ...
