... so we were all set.

We decided to do the Lost Garden today – as it only takes about 2 hours – and spend the entire day at Eden the next day. We rocked up at Heligan at around 4pm and were soon through the gates and on the trail. Man, what a cool spot. A bit of a blah day but only because I suffered from heart burn half the night and was a bit washed out in the morning. A day to do the washing and pack our bags. We still managed to fit in a bike ride up to Silbyback Lake and back to blow out the cobwebs. It's about an hours ride and the wind went right through you. It was very pretty but so cold. ... even now there were a lot of people around braving the weather. The bikey gang ditched their helmets and we hiked along the beach tracks and then headed down to the water on the sand. This is a lovely part of Cornwall and once again I wonder why we didn't explore more when we lived here for two years in our early twenties.
