Thanks to Kenneth we saved about 3 hours by travelling by train and ferry from Zealand to Germany instead of all the way around by train through Jutland. Talking of ferries reminds me that when we were up at Kronburg Castle the ferries cross from there to Sweden every 20 mins and in the fog they have to cross the paths of all the heavy ships using the Oresund Strait to the Baltic ( the East Sea to Scandinavians).

Fast forward to now, 7 months later. Now, we have had steak since, but Pete always says it wasn't as good as Jensens. We haven't really planned were we have been going, just look at the map, find a campsite, head there and explore. On this occasion Pete was really keen to go to this city called Lubeck. I found out why, it has the only Jensens outside of Scandinavia.

We left Malmö yesterday morning and took a drive around Copenhagen to refresh our memories of the city. Then a long drive across Denmark to a stop at Hotel Ballumhus near the North Sea coast at Bredebro, and a visit to a Viking Museum. Today we had a look at some local ruins in Trojborg, visited the floodgates at the mouth of the Eider River and stopped at Brunsbuttel at the North Sea end of the Kiel ...
