Once everything was loaded into our rental vehicle it was time fro Brad to tackle the Swiss motorways in a left hand drive car. Despite asking for a map the Europcar lady told us very confidently that if we just followed the road to Lucerne we would get to Engelberg our final destination for the day. ... You could see the lion's pain on his face. From there we walked to the old wooden bridge at Lucerne Lake. The outside of the bridge is covered in flowers and inside on the arches are paintings. Part of the bridge was burnt when a fire started, but they have rebuilt it to look the same as before. On the way back we stopped at a souvenir shop and I bought a Swiss Army Knife and they engraved my name on it.
