... we have people in our program from both - rivals! IT WAS A GREAT GAME - GO PACK and we met people there from Wisconsin and all over the U.S. that now live in Switzerland. We took the train back to St. Gallen and got home about midnight for class on Monday.

Skiing here was definitely the most hardest place I have skied, but it was a challenge and so fun!

Needless to say, walking up the stairs to class today was much harder - we are pretty sore!

Lunch was expensive. We bought a sandwich, a bagel, a salad and a quiche for over 40 Australian dollars! Ouch.

The fog was a feature of the trip (you know it's been a quiet day when the fog is a feature) with thick fog covering the countryside in places. At times we had about 30 to 40 metres visibility.
As we reached Switzerland, we started getting glimpses of the Swiss Alps and snow. Very ...

One glorious day, the spring sun burst into the cave. Birds chirped joyfully outside and the sweet scent of thousands of spring flowers stole into the depths of the mountain. The dragons lifted their great heads and unfurled their mighty wings. One of them flew out into the warm ...

Mt Titlis was closed yesterday due to high winds but open again today so we were back on the train to Engelberg then took the cable cars & gondola to the top - altitude 3238m. At the first station we stopped at the tubing fun park, then up to the top for a casual lunch. Braved the elements to take part of the cliff walk but the sadly the visibility was very poor & the wind & snow made us glad to get back to the shelter.

... start with views over the mountains, the valley and the city. Then we all pile into the cable car and on up to the top for those world famous views. The cloud interfered a little but we hiked around the top of Mount Pilatus. I am
here, I did this and it was bloody amazing! Down again on theSteepest cog railway in the world, through forest, tunnels and grassland. We head out of town to our hotel in the mountain village of Giswil which proves to be full ...
