... money to buy something! Exactly what our Opa used to do everytime we visited him!

We went for a walk through the village and it was just beautiful. Each village has its own town hall, school, cemetery and everyone knows eachother. It is also super safe. ... from Quedlinburg) and then hiked on the top of the ridge for about 3-4 km on that Teufelsmauer. A bit taxing for my knee in parts but I just took it slowly, and a little bit scary in some parts with deep drops right next to the stone or mud paths. But that also gave it an extra thrill.
What I also liked it was quite varied in scenery and paths. Very impressive.

... town. And since the houses in general weren't as pretty as the ones in Quedlinburg, I decided to cut my visit to the town short, and just see the castle on the hill.

Just like tonnes of other people I bought a cheap umbrella.

Climbed up to the Wer*****ode castle. I had wanted to take the silly little 'kiddy train' up but it was ...
