Departed Brighton this morning for trip to Salisbury Plains and Stpnehenge. Far more touristy than 35 years ago with a visitors centre, museum bus link to site etc. Very popular venue however and quite well done with individual explanatory radios. Rest of day driving through green countryside in beautiful weather to Plymouth - on afternoon drove to Dartmore national park for dinner on pub on the moores, good nights entertainment and meal ...

After a leisurely and hearty breakfast Jan had a look around the shops in Dartmouth while Allan checked out our itinerary for the coming week. We plan to see more of Devon and Cornwell in southern England before heading north.
