What a great spot Claudia found. Fishing dock, awesome view of the gulf, happy hours for hours. Visited St George Island (10 min from camp) and pulled into the state park. Surf fishing was very profitable. Two reds, six whiting and a ray or two. Have to say, the 5 star rest rooms and shower facility at our campground lived up to its ranking. They thought of ...

We later found out we were on the bird side of the island, and the other side was 8 miles away, out of reach of our 2 hour ferry limit. The jungle we walked through gave way to the beach. On the beach we spotted a pod of dolphins ranging from about 50-100 yards away. They were amazing and followed us as we walked along the beach. After our ferry ride back ...
