    Night before lift off!

A travel blog entry by steve.stever on Jul 04, 2015

We are taking the last meal with memaw, papau, Annemarie, Sean, and Anique! We have to go to bed early so we have enough energy to complete the task of making it to our motel room tomorrow. We recently learned that we have a complication on the rental car pickup as we did not pick the right airport to acquire the car. So we will end up taking a ...

We headed up north towards Tampa heading for Clearwater. Had a few hold ups due to a burnt out van and rush hour downtown, but I'm loving the multiple lane highways (or are they freeways?) Homer calls them motorways. Rachael ...

... time. They left a couple of days before we did to make the Crossing. We did not like the weather report or the height of the seas the day they left so we opted out. But, I guess if you can jump from an airplane, big waves are nothing. I heard their Crossing was rough but we spoke to them later and they were pleased as punch to be in the warmer weather. While we did not make the Crossing that day, we had an opportunity to enjoy the local culture. There was live music at a ...
