... found were very upmarket food kiosks. We discovered a tres French stall selling duck confit sandwiches, and with a little red wine, all was right with the world. We strolled the Stroget back to our hostel, and noted how good it felt to be "home" after a few days away. The fact that it is 20 degrees warmer here doesn't hurt either.

... work quite hard during the week. All the socialising tends to take place at the weekend when they are free. This is completely different from the UK, where we tend to go out mostly on the week days and are not necessarily too bothered about making it to lectures... (Yes, I can see the flaws!) ... away. It is a long harbour, the first part is commercial and has a floating dry dock, then there are a number of pontoons for locals and finally, there are an adequate number for visitors. I say adequate as when we arrived, almost all the boxes were empty but it didn’t take long for all the space to fill up as yachts came in for their last (or first) day in Denmark.

... moving queue put us off, so we sandwiched on board instead. We did eventually get some smoked herring, hot smoked salmon and some smoked mussels later in the day, once the lunchtime rush had subsided. We would enjoy these at a later time and date.
So after lunch, we headed off for the hills on our bikes. I say hills and whilst Æro is not exactly mountainous, the long slow inclines did for us and we ended up pushing the bikes up them. The countryside was lovely, ...
