I’ve always loved to travel, but I never thought I’d travel to the same place my entire family originated from. Tonight, as I sit in Charlotte, I’m nervous and excited to head to India. Ever since the trip to nepal fell through, it has been a sense of excitement and nervousness for where we are going to next. Two months is a long ...

Little does she know that I'm secretly auditioning her for the Amazing Race as we navigate the airports. She slept for the whole first flight while I did crossword puzzles (who was the 1984 Academy Award winning actress? I feel like I should know this) and watched HGTV. I do love Southwest Airlines. ...

... for Christmas. I know my mom and dad are sad I won't be here yet happy for Johnnie and me. Our plane leaves this afternoon and all is ready. I am awaiting Johnnie to return from work and my limousine. (It is really my mom and dad's truck but limousine sounded much more sophisticated.) We will soon be off to the airport for the next 2 days of flying. I know, we won't arrive in Cairns until December 21st! The time change is really going to mess with us. ...
