... learned that the area of the labrynith was able to survive with no water. Wow!!!! Following this visit to the gardens we headed to manchester to see my sister, brother in law and niece and nephew. The GPS was great and took us on the country roads to avoid the traffic. We enjoyed a wonderful Shabbat dinner together and the kids are having fun playing and catching up. Now for a restful Shabbat Shabbat ...

... tomorrow morning and given vouchers for the Hilton, bus transfers and supper and breakfast. Shame that supper is over by the time we arrive at midnight and breakfast doesn't start before we'll have to check out at 5am.

Whether we'll lose our bags for a second time this trip is with the gods.
My technology stuff is in that suitcase, so photos are delayed today...

... The final flight of an historic cold war supersonic British Vulcan bomber happened to occur during our lunch as the cherry on top.
Our exploration of the palace grounds was heightened by the presence of the illustrator for 'The Gruffalo' book series. We were able to act the role of the privileged 18th century aristocracy, playing ring toss and lawn bowling, wandering the gardens, all with Gruffalo inspired activities for the kids interest.

... they are happy to share the cycling experience with someone who holds them up and complains all the way home ;) I didn't have a chance to take photos today but fortunately my much fitter and faster cyclist did, so you will be able to share some of the sights of today.
