... magical. It was warm and bright, the trees were turning autumnal, they had had a fall of snow a couple of days before and I had it pretty well all to myself. I spotted two Chamois on the trail ahead at one point and got some reasonable pictures. The night after my walk the temperature plummeted and the heating went on and all was snuggly again. We left Priddy around 12 noon Sunday 1st November and Charlotte took us to the bus station in Bristol. Leaving Marmite was a little easier this time as she accompanied us to the bus station.
