Bye bye everyone, hasta la proxima! But before that, mummy has drained the car battery! So we're waiting for Doug to bring the jump leads as ours are locked in the van and we don't have the keys... Sigh, well it is officially our first bit Of adventure. Come on Doug! We re now ...

... That wasn't the only problem I had - it seems every ingredient I needed had a different name here in the UK, even the veggies! I literally had to ask for help at least 4 or 5 times..maybe more. Like Jalapeños are not a thing here - they call them chillies? The weather was beautiful and we had a lovely walk in, only trouble was we had a rubbish guidebook so trying to find any of the climbs or even right walls proved very tricky. We spent a lot of time with heads in guidebooks very confused. But the scenery was awesome, sun shining, and we did end up doing some nice climbs at Kings Wall and Devils Truck.

      Day 2
Today we focussed on the 3 Cliffs area, and my favourite ...

... that children there were having the most magical Christmases.

One Christmas PBS showed the film adaptation of A Child’s Christmas In Wales on television. That night I slept over at Gram’s and we watched the movie while munching a plate of her famous date cookies. I loved the film, simply because it was based on Dylan’s single distillation of all his childhood Christmases, but it didn’t come close to portraying his delicious descriptions. Where were the ...
