... of Jacksonville, and what an unexpected delight that turned out to be. As a former Spanish colonial town, which has been much rebuilt and restored, it was a nice place to spend a few hours wandering and was a complete contrast to Jacksonville that we visited later in the day. St Augustine is now on the 'return to' list whereas downtown Jacksonville, which seemed souless and devoid of life, definitely is not!

... was a long day in the end as we finished at about 2130 but it was good fun to be up in the air. On Friday I was invited to go in the simulator and watch a training session which again was really good. The pilots being trained were quite advanced so they were practicing lots of emergencies and doing different difficult landings, so it was interesting to sit in and watch.
