... has always been a place that I have held dear to my heart, and I have never been there. It has always been this dream of mine, and finally - finally - I am able to accomplish that dream.

As I finish this post, it is now 12:30 am, on Feb 11, which means that there is now only 4 days left until I leave. We leave Rosebud at 4:15 am on Saturday the 15th.

Blizzard! Held Up in Strathmore! Day 3

... people and watching the news we decided to stay put and look for somewhere to stay as it was obvious the blizzard was not going to be improving anytime soon. Today we visited Centennial memorial park. It was made in 1914 to remember all of the people who died in the 2nd Boer War. There is a huge statue of an amazing equestrian soldier in the middle of the park. The ornamental gardens were also quite nice.
