      ... All was going pretty good....we set up in a great site, on an oversized campsite overlooking the lake and opened the big awning for some shade. It was so hot and very still so everyone just wandered off to do their own thing for a while. Just as we were getting supper together, the wind started. By the time we were wrapping up supper, it was really starting to blow. Ron thought it best to put the awning away before it got whipped by the wind....too ...

      Hello everyone! As I write this post I am
      so FROZEN! Just the other day I was in a place where it what 30 degrees Celsius
      and now, as I type this, it is minus 23. My mom told me that the whole time I
      was gone it did not snow, but the night I got home of course it had to snow and
      I am the designated sidewalk cleaner.

      ... people and watching the news we decided to stay put and look for somewhere to stay as it was obvious the blizzard was not going to be improving anytime soon. We booked into the Best Western Strathmore Inn and paid $100 for the night. That was just what it was and it had an indoor pool and hot tub so we were happy to chill out.       ... Needless to say all of this takes time, another reason to give yourself lots of time. Susan and I got our refunds at a downtown location the day before departing which saved us time at the airport but we still had to go to the Duty refund line for that final stamp.
