      ... Bear, Black Bear, Wolves, Mountain Goats, Owls, Eagle, Deer, Elk, Turkey, Prairie Dog, Bison and probably more but my memory isn't great! We watched the talk about the wolves which was quite interesting. But we couldn't help but think of the whales in captivity and how they said they lived longer there than in the wild. Someone asked how long the wolves would live in the zoo and the answer was 'around 12-15 years, which is much longer than in the wild'. ...

      ... walk on the surface. There were even people skating on it. Just behind the lake is the Fairmont Chateau hotel, which is amazing, but fairly expensive, of course.

      All in all, Alberta seems like a beautiful place, it isnīt also far away from British Columbia and the scnerey everywhere is simply breathtaking!! It isnīt the best place on Earth and I think the climate is just too harsh for me, but itīs definitely worth a visit.

      ... people and watching the news we decided to stay put and look for somewhere to stay as it was obvious the blizzard was not going to be improving anytime soon. We booked into the Best Western Strathmore Inn and paid $100 for the night. That was just what it was and it had an indoor pool and hot tub so we were happy to chill out.
