... and played games, then drove to the playground. Alice and Tom were oblivious to the icy wind but eventually we managed to drag them away! It was wonderful to catch up and see them looking so well and happy.
Later in the day we took the girls to see Pat and Ernie (Simon's parents) in Worksop and Alice scored another ice cream when the van just happened to stop outside their house.

This morning we woke at 7am which is a big difference to the last two early mornings we have had, we woke up at a normal hour! We packed up our luggage and I had a quick phone call with mum on messenger and Skype with Steve. It certainly makes being away from home easier knowing we can contact them any time of the day. The breakfast spread was the same as the last two days so again we loaded up on breakfast to try and save money on lunch and dinner. We checked out ...
... I found out that there is no taxi rank at Meadowhall train station. It meant I had to walk home, but at least I know now and can book a taxi when I return to the country.
Tomorrow, I leave at 6:30am making my way to Manchester to fly to Orlando. I've booked my seat and will be sat at the window so I can watch the ground crew and other activities on the airfield. Don't blame me, I'm an engineer.
So another few weeks of preparation and then back to Kerhuel and the house and garden for me. Back to pointing for Andy.
Ann's cold and chest infection are no better so off to Drs up the road. The surgery is literally across the road from Nick Clegg's constituency office (above the plumbers!!). She came home with a presecription for anti biotics and some cream for the conjunctivitis she had developed to add to her misery.
