... Was it to be city and surrounds, or the wilderness? I chose wilderness given my love of landscapes and the opportunity to see Yosemite National Park for myself was too great and therefore outweighed seeing the likes of the Golden Gate Bridge. Although I did manage to get a glimpse of it on our way out of the city heading over Bay Bridge, riding a cable car, seeing the Port of San Francisco and of course Alcatraz.
