We had a wonderful time in San Francisco. We stayed at an RV park in Vallejo, on the north side of the bay. The ferry dock was about 2.5 miles from the camper, which made it an easy trip to the city. ... Terri has taken today off so we went to some outlet stores to look around. It's so hard not to buy all the good deals I see, but I have restrained myself ..
Had Carls Jr for lunch, real nice it has our favorite mexican food and hamburgers. In the afternoon went to Cosco's department store, which sells everything from food to trees...and all in bulk.

On Thursday Di and I spent a day rambling around the lovely little town of San Rafael. This included seeing lots of art: the home studios of friends, Bob and Judy, Judith and Barb, whose studi is located in a whole building of artists' studio. All four are amazing creative people and it was a real treat to see their work.
