And now for something completely different...
For the last week or so we have been captivated by and immersed in deep canyons, high mountains, wildlife, pools and rivers...today was VERY different.
But before we get to that, how did we get here....re-wind...
... I even got the chance to do some writing and some window-looking. T and I took turns paying visits to the Sightseer Car to visit with the grandparents, get a better look at the scenery and take pictures.

We woke up early Saturday morning, loaded 5 suitcases, two carseats, a stroller, 3 carryons, and a diaper bag into the car and headed to the airport. In hindsight, I would have left Maya's carseat behind because we never used it and it was just one extra thing to lug through the airport. got back around tea time and got changed then headed out to Benihanna's for tea. Great meal and had a good chinwag with the other two couples at our table.
back to the hotel to blog then an earliesh night ready for an early start on the next stage of the journey to Monument valley.
