      I never really thought of Canada as a place that a terrorist would strike. My impression of Canada is more kind. More benign. More humane.

      Quick update on Foodstuffs!

      I've been largely underwhelmed with every restaurant for the past few weeks. All five or six of them. Really, it's my own fault. Because I'm subsisting on groceries, the occasional restaurant is a big deal. If I'm spending the money, I expect terrific meals, so I ask for recommendations and do my research. Even then, I've suffered through repeated bland, tasteless meals with waitstaff obviously upset ...

      ... the California gull, and the state flower is the sego lily. Utah currently has a population of 2.9 million people over 85,000 square miles. Pretty much 35 people per square mile. It's home to many Pony Express stops and boom towns such as Fairfield and Vernon, Capitol Reef Natl. Park, which, ironically, is a preserved town, Bryce Canyon National Park, and the University of Utah.
