    The next day to Wawa Ont. I had never heard of Wawa either! Ontario is SO big! Yeah, we knew that, but after another 11 hour day and a ton of really small towns, speed limit on the Trans Canada reducing to 50 to 70km per hr.. road construction .. Some stops but none of them were too long. We stayed at was th Wawa RV Resort & Campground which we would stay at again some day.

    Not a good morning to be departing this magical place as there are clear blue skies and the sea is glassy flat. We saw the first whale of the season (for the local area) as we head the 9 miles back to Mary's Harbour. The place is simply stunning there are no other words. I have always wanted to visit tundra country and we have done that here. We would love to come back and go further North! Like all paradises there are bugs that ...

    Lakes are in abundance (over 900) in Renfew County. Geographically the whole area is quite flat. It is farming country as well as offering some fantastic outside summer recreational activities and for this reason it is a 'vacation destination'. The area is the Whitewater Capital of Canada . Yesterday we walked down to the local (Pembroke) Farmer's market, held twice weekly. It is a small market with great local produce. Mennonites live in the area and are ...

    Well it's been an interesting couple of days here but we are now sitting in Pembroke and enjoying the wireless at McDonalds tos it out the heat of the day.
