    ... on South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. - not the most original trip but perfect for what we want. Cheap bit of fun to help stick to a tight budget. Lots of culture, followed by good sun and easy living. On the 30th August the count down stops. We head out to Bangkok with a stop over in Dubai. I'll be using this blog to keep in touch, put up pictures and keep track of all the experiences...... Well that's the plan anyway. Wish us luck. I'll be in touch ...

    ... a window seat (hooray, my favourite) and had great views once we had cleared the rain clouds over Malta.


    I managed to spot the mountains of Corsica then the weather really cleared as we crossed the snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees; the good views continued and I saw the Eastenders map come to life as we flew over London. The sun was shining as we flew ...

    ... those around the Manchester/Sheffield area being the worst. Because of the weather predictions put the hood up. Mistake! It kept on collapsing on top of me forcing me to drive with one hand while attempting, with little success to hold it up with the other. Thank goodness for the many parking bays on British roads.     ... the queues at the airport, we got on the plane first and got to sit in a separate area before getting on the plane! Great fun!
