      ... tired upon landing in Canada. On the way to the city we got stuck in a traffic jam in a city bus on the freeway at 11pm at night.       I arrived last night about 9pm and was collected by my cousins Martin and Pierrette, who live quite near. A beer (good one), a chat then bed. I actually slept well.       ... later, so I headed for the shops of Rue Sainte-Catherine, near our hotel. The shops here are fantastic and I soon gave in to American Eagle (some things never change!). I strolled back to the hotel and to the roof terrace, from where I was treated to a fantastic overview of the city on this warm summer's evening. Mike and I went out for dinner.
