Woke up to the sound of rain battering the van, so went back to sleep! Eventually got up the sun was shining but it was still spitting and the mountains had disappeared into the clouds. Started to cook breakfast and the gas went!!!! It chooses its time, it was now pouring down n Andy had to go out, whilst I watched out the window, lol. ... belonged to a very influential person. With the fall of the Roman Empire the owners must have packed their bags and left, and trees, weeds and soil reclaimed the site until the 1800s. Before we got to the Roman villas we came through a beautiful little village called Yanwarth. What a cutie that was - will put up some photos. ... the door and window, with no response, Bonny and Clyde decided to return to their hotel before they were arrested for disturbing the piece or breaking and entering. By this time Bonny was not happy but Clyde let the receptionist of their hotel have it with both barrels. Why were we not told about what we were and were not entitled to? ... it really a shock that when I say 'travelling' it's more like an extended firms holiday is rubbish accomodation. Hey hoe delisted everybody laughing about my toiletry bag and my mum, brother and mark stood around the bed crying with laughter at my choice of 'toiletries' - apparently tinted moisturiser and conditioner and not necessities I thought I was doing well anyway- it beats the year I packed a fluffy dressing gown to go to Spain anyway , so I have made progress :) ...

... at 4pm with British Airways on Sunday (with any luck), straight to Venice. We're only in Venice tonight from about 7, them head onto the ship at midday Monday. No Internet access (unless we want to pay astronomical fees), so we'll be out of action until Tuesday 5th November, the day the kids go back to school. So Greece, Athens, Santorini, Dubrovnik, Bari, Italy and Olympia here we come. Fingers crossed for smooth sailings ...
