Today started off perfectly with the ability to sleep in after yesterday's long trek. Breakfast at Highland Bakery one block away was delicious and put us right across the street from the MARTA station where we caught a train down to Centennial Park.

Always fun to meet other travelers and the train provided us with a chance the chat with a nice couple from Sweden who were wrapping up a 3 week journey to the states. Quick ride into downtown and we managed to avoid getting ...

Woke up around doing 8 and had breakfast in the hotel...pretty good actually. Then we were off to Wakinsville first which is a tiny village about 15 min from Athens. We then went to Monroe for coffee ?.small , not exciting town. Then we went back to Athens and spent the afternoon at the Georgia State ...

We walked down Liberty St to J Christopher's for breakfast...sat outside which was nice but the breakfast was only so-so. Guess we are spoiled at home with even White Spot let alone the brunches that are available. We left around 10:30 ...

We were up early and had a pretty good breakfast of eggs, a bagel and yogurt with quite good coffee at the Springhill Suites at the Gateway Centre which is right across the street from the Atlanta Convention Center. Mark was still on from last night. What a nice person! So helpful...we then took the ATL to the Rental car area, which is enormous, and the found Enterprise. The attendant was also so helpful ...
