Worn out from all the walking, and with the light starting to fade, I slowly made my way back towards the hotel for dinner and to start packing. The U534 was in port where a lot of the German high command was and took off with 2 other U Boats. When they were spotted they were not flying the black flag. In other words they were not surrendering. They were sunk by a plane carrying a depth ...

... It smells exotic inside and looks beautiful. Nan commented that it is not as beautiful as it was all those years ago when she would visit as a girl, I guess time takes it toll more evidently with plants. They would come on ”penny returns” and explore the park during the summer. My Nan’s favourite statue is that of Peter Pan (see pictures), it’s situated by the Greenhouse so we got to see it again with her after all these years!
