I had never been to Gatwick airport and so was previously unaware of the existence of a time portal which forced the main terminal to stay in 1965. After our virtually perfect European train experiences, our train into London was delayed for half an hour due to a signal failure north of Croydon, which was of little surprise to someone used to the British rail network. ...
