... a local grocery store and had great reception at both places. I had the chance to clean the RV, get some phone calls taken care of, and rearrange a few cupboards for easier access to our groceries. The temperature today was in the mid-nineties and as soon as you walk outdoors, you just instantly melt into the pavement…it’s so humid and the sun is relentless, so I definitely didn’t mind staying in the a/c!

... an elderly couple watching tv in the lounge, we declared it a success...haha.
We drove to a big parking lot so that John could clean up...there was a bookstore in the plaza, so we checked it out, but it was one of those annoying "we only sell bestsellers" bookstores, so after a quick perusal, we left, had lunch in the RV, and drove straight to Mount Morris. It's just too hot to do anything right now....
We miscalculated our arrival time in Warren by a lot, so after dropping Beth off in Harvard, we were racing toward what we thought was Warren, but sadly, ended up not being so. Got a little turned around, went a bit further south than we should have, but after some helpful geography lessons from our sponsor, we arrived safe and sound at the fairgrounds and fell promptly asleep.

We were pleasantly surprised by our Red Roof Inn which showcased plenty of outlets to charge our devices, laminate floors (no dirty hotel carpet here!), a microwave and fridge. ... new faces, old faces, children, basketball, stories, games, and delicious food. The day was a typical Bratt gathering, and it made my heart happy to be there. Family and friends were there that I haven't seen in more than a year, sometimes even longer. Another dear childhood friend was their with her husband and 3 kids (one of whom I'd never met).
