We departed Lake Minnetonka around 10:30a, picked up the hounds and headed north / east. Theresa was kind enough to offer us her cabin to spend the night so we had cocktails, dinner and more cocktails before bedding down.
Rosie is exhausted so all is good.
We left Dunham Lake and headed east in hopes of catching a lake ferry across Lake Michigan.

Afterward, I got out and we got Meatball so he could go out with Bob. He had NEVER been in a kayak before so Bob threw a bunch of treats into the front and we got him to jump in. ... grounds. Then we headed for Gooseberry Falls. We hiked up to the upper falls and then followed the trail to the lower falls. There was a lot of people just chilling out by the falls. We even seen a cave man. See the attached picture.
We took a couple of other hikes around Beaver Bay and Silver Bay. Once we reached Schroeder, we stopped at the bridge to see yet another falls.
We had dinner on our way back to Hinckley.

We left Iowa City at about 9:00am heading for Hinckley, Minnesota. Sheila and I decided to do the Lake Superior Circle in the time between now and May 30. That is when we will meet Lisa, Dave and Izzie at Spirit Lake Iowa for a visit. I should also mention that this trip was a spur of the moment trip - it definitely didn't have a "PLAN". So here are a couple of flaws that we have encountered.
