My dear friends: It's getting colder in Canada and my thoughts are wandering to warmer climes. On January 12/2010, I fly to Managua, Nicaragua and then work my way north ending up in Cancun, Mexico. From there, I fly to join many members of the Gaudun family in Daytona Beach. If you would rather not get notifications of my travel blogs just send a brief "no thank you" to this travelpod . No problem. Hasta la vista baby. Steve

Milton, Ontario, Canada jimcabay... an RA (residence assistant whose job is to make sure rules are followed, mediate any arguments that arise, hold events, just generally be there is we need help) from downstairs and John who is the RA on my level. Actually John is also on exchange from New Zealand. And they were heading down to the shops so I went along with them to get some things I would need ASAP. For example there is no bed linen or even a pillow so I had to buy that, and I also got some ...
Guelph, Ontario, Canada ausgal2112.30pm Sunday 6/9

OK well it feels like ages since I was in Montreal but I will try and write about my last day there. I went to the Biodome first. It's what used to be the cycling centre for the Olympics so it’s shaped like a helmet, but now they’ve turned it into a nature habitat. Well actually its four habitats under the one roof; tropical forest, Laurentian forest, marine and polar world. Tropical was great saw some weird birds who got ...

We love you all lots, and hope that you will come visit us in Madison as well!
And not to worry...we'll be back!!
xo

Guelph, Ontario, Canada ladyandtramp... what's become with the world?" but let's simplify it to "what's become with people?????" You know how people say "ohhh, kids these days!" well, WTF? They are learning inconsiderate behavior from someone aren't they?? I'm not saying it's from, or only from their parents, but holy ****, since when is it hard to be a good person? (this is seeming kind of familiar so forgive me if I've ranted about this before) I'm ranting yeah, and I tend to do that when I'm ...
Guelph, Ontario, Canada wakingdream... been writing some articles on the food. Yum. Sausage! Seafood! The Portuguese sure do love their pork. Infact, they have an entire festival revolving around pork! I also do love writing about spas. A girl can dream, right? As a budget traveler myself, I have not had much, if any opportunity to indulge in the rejuvenating treatments at a spa.Well, once when I got married. My mother-in-law and I splurged at an amazing resort called Pimalai in the deep ...
Guelph, Ontario, Canada wakingdream... country to get it. It's just more special that way. So I guess there will be a trip to Chinacountry rather than Chinatown if I really want that special silk or handmade fan. The prices were cheap cheap but even so, I curbed any desire to "acquire." Not quite yet. If only for the fact that I am in a space deficit situation critical when it comes to stuff. I have for the first time in my life, popped the seams on a suitcase. I ambled my way ...
