... was, even before it was connected to the rail line, starting to sell a lot of its produce commercially, so there was less scope (and less need) to save *************ey by doing all those things ... and there was money for luxuries like canned Pineapple in the middle of winter!

How things have changed!

... lovely meal there Marg enjoyed herself with another glass of wine so she will sleep well tonight.

Quick trip home no problems with putting Marg's walker in the car. Made up the Chesterfield for her and we all got ready for bed. Made sure Marg had her night time medication had a Dutch biscuit and drink checked Trip Advisor for units in Ottawa (Bit expensive there). ... through the different towns of Wyebridge, Waverley, Orr Lake and of course the roadworks near the towns. Back on Hwy 400 with the maple, oak and pine forests, roadworks from Forbes St turn off (that's all you see on the highways) with sprinkles of corn, maze, canola and wheat farms. as we enter Barrie (a very big town) the bumble bee cones start again and now we have a three lane highway which is very busy.
