... the beaten track which led right to the edge of a sheer 30 metre waterfall, or ledges overlooking the valley below. Partway through our walk the sun came out and created an incredible picture shining through the bright green leaves of the oaks and maples. It was such a nice walk through a beautiful part of God's creation with good friends and I was sad when the sun started sinking and the time came to head back and even more so when we finally had to say goodbye.

De helped me out immensely by teaching me three key words in Welsh: sglodion (sg-LOW-dee-on), cwrw (COO-roo), and ysbyty (US-buh-tee) - chips, beer, and hospital. I'm a little concerned at the inclusion of hospital, but she obviously knows her Mom and Dad well at the first two. ... I rang and he said he was trying to get me but I never heard my mobile ring the bloody thing was in my pocket. Anyway I run all the way to their shop checked what they restored I have Skype back they couldn't retrieve Thunderbird for emails (have to go to Explorer now and logon Westnet site) or Microsoft 2013 but put Open Office3 on so I can do word documents and excel, lost Richards Ezy Station (sent email and now have link to download). Food is more than in the States, especially fruit and vegetables which very often are imported from the USA. Booze is quite a bit more as I believe government taxes are higher here and the retail outlets are very often provincially owned or controlled which doesn’t make for healthy competition.
