... outside of Charlotte, SC.

Mom missed the hotel exit and then when we turned around, the Waze driving device had us make a complete 360 and travel 6 more miles to a completely different exit. Go figure.

Once in the hotel, we were going to bed on a sleeper sofa. When mom sit down, the foot of the bed flipped up in the air almost sending her to the floor. It was a wild ride.

... but it was still cold in the morning so much ice remained on the road. After about 2 miles, we got to a hill and the car was unable to drive up, so we parked at a pull-off and hiked the rest of FSR 140. This past weekend, we headed to the Brevard area for some frozen waterfalls and winter hiking.
