Touring Reno-Sparks NV
After saying goodbye to the Ritchies we headed up Hwy #95 along Walker Lake. In places the highway is a shelf along the bottom of the mountain on the left! In the previous post I mentioned the low water level in Walker Lake and its effect on the wildlife and birds in the area. A Small Town Welcome
It was hard leaving my bed this morning knowing that this would be the last time I see true civilization for a long time (meaning, more than one grocery store/gas station). The day ran pretty smoothly except we had bad directions that told us to make a right onto HWY 50 instead of a left.
