We logged the cache as a DNF (Did Not Find) and headed back. We dropped the borrowed items at Mike's house and met him at the Fallon VFW for a couple drinks and more visiting. ... family. Our dinner break was at Chili's and then a quick Starbucks stop before we got back on the road.
Lisa was able to convince Eric to get us to Fallon so we could rest and get a good night's sleep before we drive all day to the Grand Canyon on Sunday. We aren't all that far from my home at this point but it was definitely a full day.
