We arrived here yesterday afternoon, passing by the Gorge Amphitheater where Ralph once drove to with the Ozzfest Tour, in 2000.

This RV park boasts a swimming pool a basketball court, large picnic area and a nine hole golf course, lots of beautiful shady willow trees and green grass. Maggie is very happy not to be in her crate today and is lying under my camp chair.

... that the fuse servicing that bulb was burned out. He used my fuse puller and one of my fuses, so the price turned out to be right.

This put us about an hour late on departure, but we had planned on only driving to the St. Regis area and then north to Cascade Creek Forest Service Campground. It felt good to be back in the RV Saddle again. The miles seemed to melt away as we got used to Shorty's traits.

I drove with a couple friends to the center of the state. We stopped at a viewpoint of the Columbia river gorge and then did the flat hike to the Ancient Lakes - really pretty colorful lakes amongst the basalt coulees, complete with a waterfall.
