The days walk was a pleasure - meandering paths through very pretty agricultural land. I know some folk find this section boring but for me it was very storybook pretty and pleasurable. I purchased The Tale of Peter Rabbit book, and then ordered a ham sandwich and mocha coffee for lunch. In addition, I bought a stack of the famous Sarah Nelson’s Grasmere Gingerbread. It had a very unusual flavor, one you wouldn’t normally associate with gingerbread. I think I am partial to the gingerbread from back home to be honest with you.
