We arrived in Dublin with such excitement and thrill that we could **********tain our joy! We were in Ireland for St. Patrick's Day...anything could happen! We had super amazing directions this time too! We had the directions the hotel gave us, and we had directions from Google's Map Quest, which quite possibly could be one of the most genius creations out there on the internet! Anyway, so there we were at the airport with two sets of directions in hand and just as a precautionary method we ...

Dublin, Ireland aubreyamericaWe drove to Dublin and stayed in another Travel Lodge. We went out on the town in the Temple Bar district and had a massive night the first night, pub and club hopping. We had so much fun, but I did not feel the best the next morning after way too many tequila shots. Last night we went out for a nice three course meal, which was great. But you wouldn't want to do it much here, everything costs an absolute fortune. This is a rushed entry, cause I now have to catch a plane to London and then I'...

... just mainly bread with jam or Nutella. So the breakfast was much enjoyed. At about the point of mid-breakfast, I realized how nice it was to speak only English. I didn't have to say anything in another language, ask for an English menu, pray they spoke English, or point at something and see what came out. After traveling for 2 months straight, it kind felt good to be in an English speaking country. I'm sure as you are all aware of, not ...
Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland travel_lover87... I didn’t know at this point that the problem was due to the inactive SIM card. I knew only that it wasn’t working like I thought it was supposed to. I kept getting a message saying it was searching for a signal. I set it aside and vowed to come back to that problem later. Perhaps internet access was not in the cards for me today.
We freshened up a bit then caught the shuttle back to the airport. Bewley’s is located just a couple of miles from the ...
... si vous passez proche de la un jour ca vaut le detour! Pis le monde etait super gentil. On se promene un peu, on mange et il est 16h. On s'en va donc attendre le ferry qui part a 22h. Dublin, Ireland bachcj... burial tombs outside of Dublin. This giant mound was constructed before the pyramids of Giza. What's really impressive about it is that they designed it in such a way that the only light that gets into the inner chamber is from the sun at sunrise on the winter solstice. All in all, it was a great time in Dublin. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like I got to see enough of the city or do enough, but I'm sure I will be back. This weekend, Arcadia took us on ...
Belfast, United Kingdom bjjohnsoWeekend in Dublin, lot's of Guinness! More of Magners for Jo though... It's not really part of our year off but hey, we want the percentage to grow on the 'travelled 0% of the world' map. Any excuse to add a country will do! Was a really good weekend, enjoyed the weather incredibly, visited Guinness Storehouse, ate well in restaurants and took a biketour on a tandem! Lovely place but maybe too many tourists... Many of them from Finland - never hear that much Finnish in Edinburgh! Johanna
Dublin, Ireland johannajulienAlright, alright. I know it has been a while since I have written in here, and I apologize for that. Things have actually started picking up around here and requiring me to do some homework. Also, the everyday things have become everyday to me, so I'm not as excited and wanting to tell everyone about them. I'm finally settling in here, but now, am getting antsy to travel. I am leaving for Venice, Italy on Friday. Our two week spring break starts then. To ...
