... in 1897 when they built their house. It is up on a cliff overlooking the valley. By the time we arrived, it also was getting ready to close, so we just walked around the grounds for a bit.
One of the couples we met last year at the Passport America Rally in Concord, NC is here and are also staying tonight, so we're going out to eat later. They are from Texarkana and know one of the couples in our RV chapter. Anyway they are also working their way north for the FMCA rally.
This being America's birthday, we had a good celebration.
There wasn't too much going on for the rally today, since it is the last day. There was a Pet Parade this morning, but since we don't have a pet, we didn't attend. We made an appearance, said a few "Hi's" then went over to the horse show that was happening here today. ... t make a difference. It was mostly bulk items and homemade noodles, candy, etc. No bread, however. We did manage to spend a few bucks there, but we had already determined that we would be stopping in Tipton at the Dutch Bakery. Heather couldn't remember the name of the restaurant, but when I did a search on the GPS of eating establishments in the area, Lehman's Family restaurant was one of the choices and it sounded more like the right place than PIONEER CAFE' so ...
... to see if there was anything new. There wasn't, but it took up some time. By the time it was over, it was close to dinner, so I stayed there and waited for Bob.
The dinner meals are included in the rally price and tonight we had BBQ pork, baked beans, steamed veggies, rolls and cookies for dessert. It was pretty good and better than the place we went yesterday for dinner.

We arrived in Sedalia about 2pm after driving through some very nice scenery, but the back roads of MO. I think Bob was starting to hear banjos playing before we arrived in Warsaw, MO.
